Maturity vs. Immaturity

"“A mature person is one who is does not think only in absolutes, who is able to be objective even when deeply stirred emotionally, who has learned that there is both good and bad in all people and all things, and who walks humbly and deals charitably”"

adopted article

I’ve been contemplating this subject for a long time. I’m not sure if the concept of maturity is entirely subjective or not. I don’t think there are any universal standards for maturity, especially since every culture has its own view of what maturity is. But anyway…
First of all, I think that once we escape high school (or possibly even earlier), we realize that age is no measure of maturity. There are plenty of 40- and 50-year-olds who still act like children. There are many teens and children who act wiser than their years.
But is maturity something that is gained over time? Something learned? Is it a measure of intelligence? Or are some people just born with the capacity to gain maturity?
I THINK PART OF MATURITY IS LEARNING FROM YOUR MISTAKES AND ACCEPTING CRITICISM WELL. BEING PETTY AND DEFENSIVE ARE SIGNS OF IMMATURITY. IF SOMEONE RUSHES THROUGH LIFE WITHOUT STOPPING TO CONSIDER THE PAST AND LEARN FROM IT, THAT PERSON MAY BE IMMATURE, BASED ON THEIR UNWILLINGNESS TO LEARN. SOME CONSTANTLY MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES OVER AND OVER AGAIN, THINKING THAT SOMETHING DIFFERENT WILL HAPPEN.
As Einstein said “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.” Maybe “insanity” should be changed to “immaturity.” Learning from others’ mistakes is just as important as learning from your own. If you see someone making a mistake and destroying their life because of it, don’t follow them! It seems like common sense, but when that someone is a person you look up to, you may find yourself following in that person’s footsteps.

DOES RITUALS ENSURE MATURITY
When I was in the USA I used to disdain shows that glorify teenage parenthood, such as Teen Mom and 16 and Pregnant. I hope that teens who watch these shows realize the mistakes these “reality stars” are making and do not repeat those mistakes. But some teens may believe that, because of these shows, teen pregnancy is acceptable and having a child will make them more mature or more of an adult – or even make them “glamorous” in some perverse way. Seriously – who wants to live their life under the eye of a camera?
Graduating from college does not automatically make someone mature. There is still so much to learn, even after formal schooling is over. That’s one of the best things about life; you really do learn something new every day… that is, if you choose to learn. Walking around in ignorance and refusing to learn from daily life is a type of immaturity.
There are so many parents out there who say something to the effect of, “Do as I say, not as I do.” Teens may call their parents hypocrites for saying this, but in truth, we are all hypocrites. We have made mistakes, we have learned from them, and we want to keep others from making those same mistakes, so we tell others not to do what we have done. I think being hypocritical is part of human nature. Of course, there are people who act hypocritical purposely to confuse others and lead them astray.

DOES RELIGIOUS ADHERENCE ENSURE MATURITY?
Religion does not automatically make someone mature. By its very nature, religions are full of hypocrites. Spirituality aims to make us forsake our human nature, which is incredibly difficult. Even the most religious people fall back into their human nature at times; they are often labelled hypocrites because they tell others to “do as I say, not as I do.”
Above all, I think maturity is being open-minded and not shutting down others’ arguments. Listen to what that person is saying, even if it’s not in accord with your own beliefs. Being open to different perspectives is crucial. Accepting that others are different from you is crucial. Sometimes it feels good to realize that you can’t change a person – it can be exhausting trying to change someone who won’t change. They are that way for a reason; instead of trying to change them, learn from them!

How Far Can a Smile Travel?

This is excellent. Just smile!

She smiled at a sorrowful stranger...

The smile seemed to make him feel better...

He remembered past kindnesses of a friend

And wrote him a thank you letter...

The friend was so pleased with the thank you

That he left a large tip after lunch...

The waitress, surprised by the size of the tip,

Bet the whole thing on a hunch...

The next day she picked up her winnings,

And gave part to a man on the street...

The man on the street was grateful;

For two days he'd had nothing to eat...

After he finished his dinner,

He left for his small dingy room...

He didn't know at that moment

That he might be facing his doom...

On the way he picked up a shivering puppy

And took him home to get warm...

The puppy was very grateful

To be in out of the storm...

That night the house caught on fire...

The puppy barked the alarm...

He barked till he woke the whole household

And saved everybody from harm...

One of the boys that he rescued

Grew up to be President...

All this because of a simple smile

That hadn't cost a cent...

Dangerous Disillusionment

by Charles R. Swindoll

The steadfast of mind
You will keep in perfect peace,
because he trusts in You.
---Isaiah 26:3

Disillusionment is a dangerous, slippery slope.

First we become disillusioned about our fellow man. Then we move on to
cynicism. Before long, we trust no one, not even God. We've been
burned. We've been taken advantage of; we've been mistreated. . . .

The cause of disillusionment and the cure for it can be expressed in
almost the sample simple words.

The cause of disillusionment is putting one's complete hope and trust
in people. Putting people on a pedestal, focusing on them, finding our
security in them. . . . And when the feet of clay crumble (as they
surely will) total disillusionment sets in.

What's the cure?

Putting our complete hope and trust in the living Lord. When we do
that, the simplest messages from God calm our spirits.

No Fear of Failure

by Charles R. Swindoll

The wicked flee when no one is pursuing,
but the righteous are bold as a lion.
---Proverbs 28:1

When will we ever learn that there are no hopeless situations, only
people who have grown hopeless about them?

What appears as an unsolvable problem to us is actually a rather
exhilarating challenge. People who inspire others are those who see
invisible bridges at the end of dead-end streets.

There was a Cabinet meeting in London during the darkest days of the
Second World War. France had just capitulated. Prime Minister
Churchill
outlined the situation in its starkest colors. Quite literally, the
tiny British Isles stood alone.

Grim faces stared back at him in stoic silence. Despair and thoughts
of
surrender were written in their looks. The visionary statesman
momentarily remained silent, lit a cigar, showed a hint of a smile,
and
with a twinkle in his eye, responded to that dispirited company of
officials, "Gentlemen, I find it rather inspiring." . . .

What a great line! No wonder people followed the man. Fear of failure
never entered his mind!

Real Riches

by Charles R. Swindoll

In [Christ] are hidden all the
treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
---Colossians 2:3

From the looks of things, you're pretty impressive. You've got a nice
place. And I suppose your neighbors would agree that you're a hard
worker . . . climbing right on up that ladder toward success, right? .
. .

Your salary is good and your material possessions are growing in
number, but . . . the truth is you are empty on the inside and you're
faking it on the outside. Not one thing you own in your "kingdom" has
brought you the happiness you long for.

So you're thinking, "Maybe if I could land that better job," or "get
into that bigger house," or . . .  or . . . .

But don't allow the smoke screen of more money to blind your eyes to
the truth. There's a lot more to being rich than making more money.
Seneca, the Roman, was right: "Money has never yet made anyone rich."

Do you want riches? Then listen to Jesus: But seek first His kingdom
and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you
(Matthew 6:33).

For the real riches, try switching kingdoms.

Lust

today i will blog about something that is some what had to deal wit.

The Bible is explicit about sexual sin (e.g., Lev. 18) but as I mentioned in my last blog, it doesn’t mention masturbation. This is important because many Christians struggling with lust focus too much on not masturbating rather than on whether they allow lust in their lives. This is a colossal mistake because if you rid yourself of lust, then masturbation will cease to be a problem.
Hard to do? Yes. But doable nonetheless. Too many Christians don’t realize how often they lust every single day and it hardly bothers them until they click on hardcore porn or masturbate and then they feel like what the cow stepped on. Instead, Christians need to alarm about absolutely, positively every little bit of lust—and worry less about masturbation which the Bible doesn’t even mention. So I’ll say it again, get control of lust and masturbation won’t be an issue. If your lusts are out of control, good luck with trying to stop masturbating.
So let’s talk about controlling lust.
One of the two most important things you can do to get control of lust is to avoid anything that causes/encourages you to lust. I have found, however, that some people will say that they can watch a certain amount of sensuality, sexuality, or nudity and it doesn’t encourage them to lust. But, the trouble is that the reason these people say it doesn’t stumble them is they see so much extremely lustful material that they hardly realize that these little bits fuel their lack of self-control. Look, if you sometimes indulge sexual fantasies and view porn, then those little bits that you don’t think matter, matter.
Martin Luther once said, “I can’t stop the birds from flying over head but I can keep them from making a nest in my hair.” He’s right on both counts. In this sex-charged world we will encounter lustful images but we don’t need to let them roost. For example, if a man lusts over a Wonderbra ad (twigs and mud); then lusts after some low-cut blouse—more twigs, more mud; then ogles the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition—more twigs, more mud; then watches a movie “but you only see her breasts for a few seconds!”—more twigs, more mud; then add in a little fantasy—more twigs, more mud, and so on and on and on, etcetera, ad infinitum: pretty soon you could land a 747 on his head. It’s no wonder he finds himself unable to resist hard-core porn or fantasy incited masturbation! By the way, this isn’t just a male problem: a survey revealed that 34 percent of female readers of a Christian magazine admitted to seeking porn online. Dho!
So, then, don’t read, watch, or listen to anything that encourages or causes lust. Nothing. If you can’t keep your eyes off jiggling bikinis, don’t go to the beach! If you lust after an actor in your favorite TV show—don’t watch it! Obviously this will result in a major lifestyle change for many. Some might be thinking “Wow, that would mean I won’t be able to do/see/hear a lot of things I enjoy.” True! But, this is what it costs to be free from lust. For more on this see my blog: “Lust: Are We Willing to Do what It Takes?”
More to follow.
Matthew 16:24: “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.”
Amen.

What is your motive?

you know that guilty, so agonizing feeling that we get when we find that we have been pointed out of our wrong failures or our in-adequateness, well it goes far beyond for me when I read something from the bible about my weaknesses and my failures but am at the end of it all strengthened, in  that the holy spirit works through me to remove all those weaknesses at one time or the other and by discovering that weakness through the bible is one or them or through an article. I have to admit that at first its hard to swallow but once we accept our failures and weaknesses and ask for forgiveness a pretty nice  and to even go on the road of even encourage others.
Well today I wanted to encourage you about some thing that I read from a certain article and having had accepted it and asked for forgiveness I have decided to also pass it on. Its all about our motives behind every action that we do. Most are the times that we tend to do things for the sack of being applauded or rewarded or just to show off. well today dear bloggers I  challenge you to challenge yourselves to always ask yourselves the motive behind what you are doing. In "philp1:17, james4:3" its written that sometimes we sometimes  say the name of Christ for just other bad motives, now i had to stop and ask myself when at times say the name of Christ for bad motives.

we need to ask ourselves some essential checkpoint we should apply on a regular basis:

Why are you planning this?
What's the reason behind your doing that?
Why did you say yes (or no)?
What is the motive for writing that letter?
Why are you excited over this opportunity?
What causes you to bring up that subject?
Why did you mention his or her name?
What's your motive,?

Searching, probing, penetrating questions.

Because the path of servant hood is so perilous, we need to cultivate a
sensitive walk with God marked by obedience.
our steps taken from insight for living.

Meditation on success for Easter

Dear bloggers, i was touched by today's meditate on success posting from Joseph prince. What struck me most was imagining a person asking you to trade your filthy life, life that does not make sense and has no promise for the future and him losing everything just for your soul, well guys that is what Jesus did for us, thank God for Jesus. happy Easter to you all

"For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.
2 Corinthians 8:9
    The Divine Exchange

The apostle Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 8:9 that for our sakes Jesus became poor so that we through His poverty might be made rich. At the cross, Jesus took on all our sin and poverty. He was humiliated, spat upon and stripped naked. The Roman soldiers even gambled for His clothes.

The One who fed more than 5,000 people, gave fishermen a net-breaking, boat-sinking load of fish, and who placed the gold, diamonds and rubies in the earth, took your place of poverty at the cross, just so that you can take His place of abundance. A divine exchange occurred at Calvary—your sin for His righteousness and your poverty for His provision.

My friend, Jesus is the reason you can be the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath. He is the reason you can be blessed to be a blessing. Put your trust in His presence in your life and what His finished work has accomplished for you!

Blessings,
Joseph Prince "

What more do you desire

When I was a little boy, my mother used to embroider a great deal. I would sit at her knee and look up from the floor and ask what she was doing. She informed me that she was embroidering. I told her that it looked like a mess from where I was. As from the underside I watched her work within the boundaries of the little round hoop that she held in her hand, I complained to her that it sure looked messy from where I sat.

She would smile at me, look down and gently say, "My son, you go about your playing for a while, and when I am finished with my embroidering, I will put you on my knee and let you see it from my side."

I would wonder why she was using some dark threads along with the bright ones and why they seemed so jumbled from my view. A few minutes would pass and then I would hear Mother's voice say, "Son, come and sit on my knee." This I did only to be surprised and thrilled to see a beautiful flower or a sunset. I could not believe it, because from underneath it looked so messy. Then Mother would say to me, "My son, from underneath it did look messy and jumbled, but you did not realize that there was a pre-drawn plan on the top. It was a design. I was only following it. Now look at it from my side and you will see what I was doing."
God's Embroidery
Many times through the years I have looked up to my Heavenly Father and said, "Father, what are You doing?" He has answered, "I am embroidering your life. " I say, "But it looks like a mess to me. It seems so jumbled. The threads seem so dark. Why can't they all be bright?"

The Father seems to tell me, "'My child, you go about your business of doing My business, and one day I will bring you to Heaven and put you on My knee and you will see the plan from My side."

Let us pray for the WORLD

Dear bloggers , I must bring it to your attention that of lately there have been striking events in the world and misunderstandings among the super powers. This is like the same misunderstandings that were there during the start of the II world war,I must remind you dear bloggers  that what sparked the war was a mare death of the king of Austria Hungary.
Now coming to the recent events which have been happening which are threatening the occurrence of another world war. This concerns the misunderstandings over Iran's nuclear programs which have been on since the early of 2005s.
2011 saw Iran receiving several sanctions from the USA and European Union, however in spite of all these sanctions, Iran has maintained its stance. However what is worrying is that Israel has now been involved into the same issue which has now changed the all outlook of this problem.Israel has actually announced that it might attack Iran and we have seen USA publicly declaring its support towards Israel but has advised Israel to be conscious and wait and see how Iran will respond with all these  sorts of sanctions on it.
However it must be noted that the other supper powers' stance in this problem is not know apart from the European super powers who have hit Iran with multiple sanctions. However, the other Asian countries such as china and also Russia to be included, their stance is not all that clear. This posses as a great threat, in that if Israel is attacked by Iran or Israel attacks Iran, USA and other Europeans will support Israel, however the other communist countries and others whose stance is not know might support Iran and we might end up seeing the world divided into two zones.
There has been a prophecy concerning this and it has deepened starting from 2009 and last year the man of God, Prophet TB Joshua prophesied about it and of recently this year on 15th February, 2012 he reminded the world to pray for the all world. For more click this  link.
Yesterday we saw Obama and the Israeli president making statements on the same issue during his visit and we see that the Israeli is even showing that USA and them are strong in support for each other. For more click this link.
Well I may sum it up by saying that it is important that, we the believers took to our knees each morning and pray against these troubling developments so that we can be assured of the future generation growing up knowing about the wars that we know about and not knowing another deadliest war as it has been predicted that if this war breaks out it might last for 27years. Remembering that if we stand in agreement and ask God, he shall surely answer us.

Ezekiel 22:30-31 ESV

And I sought for a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the breach before me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none. Therefore I have poured out my indignation upon them. I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath. I have returned their way upon their heads, declares the Lord God.”

here are some of the videos showing the signs.

Wish you God's blessings......

ZAMBIA AFRICAN CHAMPIONS

On 12th  February, 2012 the world was entertained to some beautiful game between Zambia and ivory cost.No one can i argue that it did not include some of the world's classic football techniques.it was the first match i have seen which had 18 penalties taken to decide the winner with three misses and one save and one save disallowed.
The champions of Africa entered the tournament as underdogs with their first meeting being with Senegal whom the all world predicted would be one of those to win the trophy. However, the perception of the world about Senegal and Zambia changed when Zambia beat Senegal two(2) goals to One(1).
The Zambians went on to prove their critics wrong with a a 1-0 against Equatorial-Guinea and came out top of the group on 7points after having drawn with Libya in a watered logged stadium on 2-2.
As if it was not enough to prove the critics wrong, Zambia went on to make defeat Ghana on a 1-0 win after Ghana missed their chance of a penalty which saw Kennedy mweene producing a brilliant save against the Ghanian striker Asamoah Gyan, which led him tendering in his resignation to the football mother body of Ghana following Fans up-raw.The win over Ghana followed the win over Sudan in the quarto-finals on 3 goals to nil.
What would be a good way to owner the 1993 Gabon crush of the all Zambian team and coaching stuff than to win the finals against Ivory Cost. The Zambian team before they did anything upon their arrival in Gabon, they went to visit the site of the crush off the cost of the Atlantic ocean.

Zambia defeated Ivory cost on penalties to lift the trophy 8-7.This was after they played 120minutes without any side finding the back of the net.Ivory cost would have own the match in the 68minute but unfortunately Drogba missed a penalty and later saw another miss from Gervinio and a save from mweene for Yaya Toure's kick during the penalty shootouts.Zambia would have won the match after Kennedy mweene's save but unfortunately Kalaba missed his penalty. However, Sunzu came to Zambia's rescue and saw Zambia caring the day
here is the match  as it happened with English commentary
part one also includes the Gabon site seen and later the match
The win saw Zambian to burst out into  celebrations. Here are photos of the celebrations

God can change YOUR situation

In joshua we read about a certain woman called Rahab, was, according to the Book of Joshua, a woman who lived in Jericho in the Promised Land and assisted the Israelites in capturing the city. Nearly all English translations of Joshua describe her as a harlot or prostitute.
Now what is so special about her, we see that inspite of her situation and way of life, she had the desire to be used by God and we see this in the book of joshua2:1-down;
when the king of jericho heard that the spies were staying at the inn, he sent a message for rehab to release them to him. she didn’t want to release them, so she told the messenger that they were no longer there. she did this, because she had heard about the miracles and defeats of other cities that God had performed. She wanted her family to be saved after the israelites defeated jericho.
scripture reference: joshua 2:4                                                      (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=joshua%202&version=AMP)
“but the woman had taken the two men and hidden them. she said, “yes, the men came to me, but i did not know where they had come from.”:

confess your need to God, and ask Him to deliver you.............................................................................................

The woman was later not destroyed by the isrealites but was instead spared and she went further to be part of Jesus' genelogy. Read this chapter Mathew 1 (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=mathew1&version=AMP)
in particalure (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=mathew1:8&version=AMP).My fellow reader, God loves you so much that he has a great plan over your life, if only you can run unto him inspite of your past, he is able to pick you up and clean you and make you one of is instruments in delivering his kingdom to everyone. Read romans 6:23,  and romans11:29 (http://bible.cc/romans/11-29.htm)
I encourage you to give your life back to God and allow his will to be done in your life, let God and his presence increase in yourlife and may you decrease john 3:48 (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John%203:30&version=AMP)
i ecourage you to accept God's forgive and sincerely repent of old ways and accept jesus as your saviour.
If you are not born again  you can free pray this prayer with, though i have prayed it a lot of times i have come to believe and understand that once you declare with you mouth that jesus was raised from the dead and that you accept him into  your heart and  he will come in and live with you, as he says '"As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne." Rev 3:19-21'

command your day

Command your Life and circumstances

Dear followers am sorry that i kept silent and did not blog but now am back as i continue to see the Grace Of God over my life, hope you are just having the same amount of grace over your life.
Today i will talk about something very important that i learnt this morning. Listen guys, Did you know that you create your own environment? But you will ask me dear blogger how can i create my own environment?  Yes its a good question but to answer you i must bring to your attention that when you tell yourself  that i can not do A, B, C... you certain can not do it no matter how much you try. Its the same when you tell yourself that i am sick you certain get seriously ill and when you tell yourself that i can not have that and that you certainly get what you wish or say. What exactly am i saying? What i am saying is that you create your own circumstances which later create your environment. Now you will ask me now how do i create this very environment? You do this by the power of your tongue,( Proverbs 6:2 )  ,                                                                                                                                                                               (Prov 18:21 [NET])Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love its use will eat its fruit.                                                            (Prov 21:23 [NET])The one who guards his mouth and his tongue keeps his life from troubles.(Jas 3:3 [NET])And if we put bits into the mouths of horses to get them to obey us, then we guide their entire bodies.(Jas 3:4 [NET])Look at ships too: Though they are so large and driven by harsh winds, they are steered by a tiny rudder wherever the pilot’s inclination directs.(Jas 3:5 [NET])So too the tongue is a small part of the body, yet it has great pretensions. Think how small a flame sets a huge forest ablaze.(Jas 3:6 [NET])And the tongue is a fire! The tongue represents the world of wrongdoing among the parts of our bodies. It pollutes the entire body and sets fire to the course of human existence – and is set on fire by hell.Dear followers lets pray that God may help us to term our tongues for he has given has dominion over everything,(genesis1:27-30). we must realize that blessed are we who believe that God will fulfill that which he has blessed or promised us in his word (luke1:45). so lets believe that God will fulfill his word and promise over our lives and we will be able to have dominion over our tongue, over our sickness, academics, financial break through, etc. The other reason is that we need to have control over our sub conscience mind(our spirit). if we can feed our sub conscience mind with positive thoughts over any situation we shall break through. For example if we begin telling our inner soul(sub conscience mind ) that am healed by the strips and wounds of Jesus, sickness will free you, think of the woman with the issue of blood in mark5:25-5 (from the book "Healing Anointing, by kenneth E. Hagins- http://www.ministryhelps.com/the-healing-anointing-p-442.html, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-lg49QtgOI"dear reader,  i am just learning the power that God has given us through our tongues by declaring his promises over our lives and situations. we must learn to command situations over our lives positively and not negatively.Above all, to have faith in all that you declare -mark 5:35
I wanted to encourage you  my dear followers as i was encouraged this morning from the website below. May God show you more and learn the rights and gifts that you have in our God from today's blog. Below is the web link for this message.
COMMAND YOUR MORNING
The topic suggests that we have authority over the morning as well as the day. Many believers wonder how to command the morning since its activities are determined by the times and season of the upper atmosphere. It’s true that God created heaven and earth and commanded man to have dominion over all his creation. It’s also right that every man’s mountain is his ignorance. Dr. D. K. Olukoya wrote in Command the Morning that knowledge empowers you to possess your possessions. When you become knowledgeable in the deep things of God, you become too hot for the devil to touch or handle. The scripture says, my people perish for lack of knowledge……… [Hosea 4:6]. Knowledge equips you to experience dominion and the secret to reign in life. The discovery of the secret things ushers us in new dimension for our spiritual life. God made man to have dominion over the works of his hand. By so doing, God had put all things under our control [Psalms 8:6]. As children of God we have been empowered to exercise control and authority over the sun, the moon and the stars as well as the hosts of heaven. Little surprise that God questioned Job: have you commanded the morning since your day began and shown the dawn its place that light may hold the corners of the earth and shake darkness [wickedness] out of it? The light of the day is too bright for the wicked and restrains them from doing violence [Job 38:12-13, 15]. The king of knowledge opined that death and life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof [Proverbs 18:21]. By this question God told Job to stop complaining, justifying yourself and explaining his circumstances. But speak the word, order what he wants and declares good things for him.
Job like many of us knew God had given us authority over all his creation but had no knowledge that we could command the works of God’s hand including morning and they obey us. This passage implies that morning has ears and can hear and take orders from a covenant person. The morning or night can hear both positive and negative orders and respond accordingly. It depends on what we say to them. Whatever a man thinks in his mind he speaks; whatever we say or order the morning obeys. Christians should know that the morning can be commanded. Man has authority to declare or order the day and night; tell them what he desires and put them in their proper place. We can exercise dominion over our mornings; declare good things and silence wickedness in high and low places. The scripture says, “Behold, I give you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you” [Luke 10:19]. Apostle Paul wrote to the saints of the Church in Ephesus, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” [Ephesians 6:12].Surprisingly, human beings do not understand how to handle the commands of God. We neither know the deep things of God nor how to use it to our advantage. However due to ignorance on the part of man, Satan and its demonic agents have overtaken and can capture anything they want and use them to intimidate and hurt mankind. What happens to us in the course of the day depend largely on the command we issue in the morning. We have been empowered to have dominion over every work of creation and to rule over forces of nature and spirits. This includes dominion over all elements in the heavenlies and the spirits that rule them. God made two great lights, the greater lights rules the day while the lesser lights rules the night [Gen. 1:15-18]. These lights play crucial role in the life of man; the life and growth of everything on earth is connected to them. They also bring forth God’s glory. Psalm 121:6 says the sun shall not smite us by day or the moon by night. Whatever we desire we should declare it according to what the scripture says. God’s word says God cannot lie and He’s an unchangeable changer. If we believe and say God’s word we have put God on the line to fulfill his word and validate his claim. Elizabeth said, “And blessed is she that believed for there shall be a fulfillment of the things which were told her from the Lord.” [Luke 1:45]. Faith in God’s word makes everything possible; provokes the greater one in us to battle as well as draws the Almighty himself to the battle line in other to bring victory to the believer. Faith comes by hearing the word of God but is released by conviction, confession and action. We have the same spirit of faith as it is written, I believe and therefore have spoken so speak if you believe and desire victory. [2 Corinth 4:13]. Faith is released through speaking and victory is tied to your faith, therefore victory is tied to speaking. Every mountain is leveled at the release of faith through speaking.
Writing on the Tongue: Destiny Moulder, Pastor Jude Chukwumaife said, “The Mountain is only removed when you do not doubt. To doubt is to weaver between two opinions. You will have what you say. The tongue is a creative apparatus; use it to create good things in your life.” He added, do not try to make people understand your problem; for you do not have any problem. Jesus solved all your problems on the cross. Jesus said on the cross it’s finished. The work for our victory is completed. Just understand that God’s ways are higher than our ways; we obtain higher results when we operate at his level. Just say what God says as a healing to your circumstances. Stop explaining God’s ways or try to sound reasonable. Learn to talk your desires not your circumstances. God confirms what you say, believing from your heart. You are the architect of your destiny. The Bible says, “Say unto them, as truly as I live, says the Lord as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you” [.Numbers 14:28]. Do not loose sight of what God says, whatever comes out of your mouth God will do it.Proverbs 6:2 says, “Thou are snare with the words of your mouth, thou are released with the words of your mouth.” God is faithful and will always keep his promises. Whatever God hears you say that’s what he will do. Stop confessing lacks, sickness or what you’re going through. You should use your tongue to create wealth and good health. It does not matter the names the doctors have given the sickness. Many of us believe doctors reports and news reports than we believe God’s word. 1 Samuel 2:3 says, ‘Stop loud boasting and do not let proud words come from your mouth; for the lord is God of knowledge and by him actions are weighed.’ When you say bad things about yourself whether it’s from the heart or not, God confirms it. So be careful of what you speak.
The demons have a field day on you if they know you’re ignorance of your divine powers and authority. They size and sip you around using their manipulations and deceitful weapons to dispossess or create alternative weapons to attack man. Many Christians do not believe in the existence of Satan. They live in denial of the works of Satan. That’s what the enemies want them to believe that he does not exist; if he exists, he’s not harmful. If you wake up in the morning and dash out of the house without commanding the morning, you’re no doubt accepting what the demons prayed in their wicked midnight meeting concerning you. As you wake up in the morning declare you will have wonderful a day and command God’s favor to shield you. May no drunk driver run into you or stray bullet come your way. Order on your children God’s wisdom, obedience and proper conduct. Pray against demonic attack at school, cover them with the blood of Jesus and surround them with the fire of the Holy Spirit. Lift their teachers in prayers; cancel the spirit of bias and prejudice and pray for soundness of mind. The tongue is a war instrument. Use it and believe it to work. In God’s principles we do not war with weapons: gun, knives, daggers or even hands but with our tongues. Jesus said, “For I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist” [Luke 21:15]. Jeremiah 5:4 says …….behold I will make my word in thy mouth fire and this people wood and it shall devour them. We overcome the enemy by the blood of the lamb and by the words of their testimony [Rev 12:11]. We must abide in Christ and let his word abide richly in us. The more of God’s word we store up in our hearts, the more power we posses to command the morning. With Christ in us, we have power over the heavenlies; then release them in faith and obtain results.Jesus had the practice of starting each day with an early morning prayers. Even as the Son of God He recognized each day a great privilege and precious gift from His Daddy. He acknowledged this uncommon favor of God and appreciated it. He ceased the opportunity of the new dawn to glorify God and obtained permission to command the morning. His prayers usually obtained results and were different from the prayers that his disciples said. They said the prayers John’s disciples taught them. The prayers said before Christ came. Many Christians today still say the prayers David and Elijah and Amos and so on said, as if the death and resurrection of Christ was of no effect. His disciples became concern: the prayers of Jesus, our master obtained results and ours do not. One day, after a session of prayers with his disciples one of them asked him: Lord, teach us how to pray your type of prayer [Luke 11:2ff]. Teach us how to obtain result in prayer. Teach us how to command the morning and the day; how to speak and the whole creation listen as well as obey. Your prayers brought dominion; even the demons, waves and storms as well as the waters obey. Your prayers reveal the source of your power. Jesus taught them: Our Father who art in heaven, hallow be thy name, thy kingdom came……….give us this day our daily bread [vs. 3]. Food, strength, power, thoughtfulness and burden enough for each day. Jesus added, ‘Forgive us our sins….lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil….’[vs. 4]. These daily affirmations cannot work until you command them into action.
When you understand who you are and realize where you are: a beloved child of God, a redeemed of the Lord, delivered from darkness into Spiritual light, a coheir with Jesus and bearer of Gospel News. You are in the world, a hostile environment and a domain of the evil one; domiciled by wicked men and Spirit, some seen and many other unseen. You are at the fore front or battle line. We battle daily with the unseen in spiritual reign. You can not afford to lousy and nonchalant in the thing that pertain to life or death. Many who slept in the grave did not meet their destiny. They died before their time. Much misbehavior we noticed in our children and we subscribe to the medical names and treatments are pure Spiritual attacks that have no medical answers. Many of the problems we encounter during the day could be averted if only we command our morning. The devils know how important our mornings are that he often introduced distraction against it. Be reminded that the morning is the beginning of the day and of life. Therefore learn to command your morning and you will get what you speak.
